hello everyone~

have you missed me terribly? i've missed you. and i've missed doing art. but you'll get both soon. i'm suddenly very motivated to do stuff and finish stuff i've been working on and all that. i've spent a lot of time doing things for 20/20 (which is still [link] ) and for myself and personal friends, but soon enough there'll be more to go around for the rest of you.

as far as 20/20 goes, the first two issues are still out and for sale at [link] and are shipped somewhat quickly, depending on time and all that. i really do appreciate everyone who goes and reads and double for those who buy and spread the word. for those in the orlando/winter park area, they're also for sale at a comic shop on the corner of 436/semoran and university. yay real shops.

as for con selling, i'll definitely be doing so at metro, just like last year, only this time it'll be three of us instead of two: myself, :iconkoyasufan: and :iconprofessorhojo:. triple threat :o i'm not sure about anything other than that because i'm graduating in june! and i might be moving :O it's scary, i know, but i'd rather not plan cons that i can't go to, y'know? get a job, move away and have to go back because i already pre-reg'd and booked a table and can't get a refund.

anyway. now's a good time for commissions, as i'm highly motivated, so everyone should step right up, tell your friends and get this stuff going. i love you all, after all <3

hey guys. i don't know how else i can put out there that i'm open for commissions. like, do you guys just not like my stuff? is there something i'm missing? is it like, a commission slots thing? cause it seems like those who do it seem to get a better response. or do they do it because they get a better response? either way, i'm just not sure what else to do about it. i was thinking about offering a commission for cheaper to do a small sized piece like i've been doing lately, but i'm not sure even THAT would sell. i mean, my prices are really low as it is. i can't really entice much more than i already do.

what do you think, guys? what is it that would really get your attention? what would make you want to purchase from me? what am i doing wrong?

dA, i love your ability to LOSE THE ENTRY I WAS JUST POSTING AND TOOK TEN MINUTES TO WRITE.

so uhh. what was i saying.

so, those of you who want to support my original comic 20/20 hindsight ( [link] ) and are attending anime USA, feel free to stop by the 'that's so cute!' booth and pick up the promo and second issue. they're uber-cheap, comparitively.

speaking of which, those who want to order online, i REALLY appreciate the business. the promo/one-shot issues run about 8-12 pages a hit and cost 1$. the normal issues run ~20-24 pages and cost 2.50$. hoo ha!

i'm really becoming disenchanted with being a programmer. and as you've likely noticed, i've really all but stopped producing art lately. just can't balance it anymore. deadlines, major projects, nothing seems to be ceasing, and i'm about to go into another 6-month game project. sigh.

also, it's about the time of year that people start thinking about arbitrarily spending money on others and i'd like to encourage you to commission me for that personalized present. my car has been sabotaged by a garage (on the corner of goldenrod (SR-551) and university) and broken down about once every 2-3 weeks since i initially went there to get my brakes changed. the douche tried to heap every possible charge on me every time i went there and was VERY displeased when i stripped his bills down to the necessary, and suspiciously, my battery and alternator went up when just last week he was fucking around with the wiring because one of my sensors had gone down. just saying it's suspicious and i'm fixing my own damn car from here out.

but yeah, let's talk sales, shall we? if you're interested in 20/20, a print of my work or a commission, just send me a note or an email and we'll get this all squared. i'd really appreciate it.

_______________

i'm reopening sales of my featured deviation 'TURK SQUARES'. for 10$ you get a nice poster-sized print mailed out to you in a tube within the continetal US. i've not actually mailed on of these out yet, so that's tentative pricing. but here's some shots of one on my wall from a few months back (the wall is more full now).

heya guys and dolls. your friendly neighborhood slack-artist here for a check-in. it's been a rather hellacious last two months but now that all's said and done, damages have been tallied and i'm ready to update.

more or less, it's been rough going. AFO was fun, yasumicon was relatively good, save the near-death car accident on the way there, and now that i have breathing room, and free time, it looks like i'm gonna be able to finally do some arting and finish out some of those costumes and props that i've been putting off.

this is where you guys come in. i like having funds to do things. the cons and general bad luck lately have been draining them a bit more than i would like and with a potential payout due for car repairs, i could use a little spending cash to toss around. if you've been thinking about commissioning me or buying prints or a poster, now would be about the time i would like to see some of it. if you know any friends who may also want to get in on this sweet deal, please, please tell them. it would make my life a lot easier.

in the meantime, who here reads [link] ? like, for serious, does anyone read it? just wondering.

also, i may have a new 'job' doing art for a story (potentially with zombies!) and will potentially collaborating with another friend on his stories (which IS with zombies!) so if anyone has any interest in that, feel free to bug me.

ho hum. well, openGL beckons. may post screencaps of the level i'm working on when it's finished or thereabouts. i'm gonna make it awesome :3

kthxbye

uhmn. so i just started to realize that i'm missing comments. like, they were there, now they're gone. this has happened on the kh2worms brilliant plans and on my sth ex-legionaire pieces, and who knows what else. where the fuck did the comments that were there go? i had 5-7 on each and they're just... not there. wtf.

also, yasumicon is go. not sure what costumes i'll be bringing, but i'll see you there with :iconinhuman-art: mkay?
_______________

sorry to let you guys down on a pre-con post. it was really hectic just beforehand and i couldn't really see myself getting online to do anything with so much left to get done offline. but i was there! i know a lot of people saw me as axel, so maybe you were one of 'em!

as far as other things go, i know i haven't been keeping up with deviations, those i usually comment on. i've been literally consumed by projects. three weeks and we have to have a cabinet ready 2-player platformer done, and my team can barely keep from killing each other every time we have to debate any of the features. wish me luck guys, i'll need it.

uhmn. what else. god, i don't know. art drops will be sporratic. i really feel like arting lately, but i have some sort of lungbutter finery going on and between that and the work i'm behind on because of that, i can't really say when or what i can do about it.

yeah, i can't remember what else i wanted to say. for those in the miami area, be on the look out, it looks like we'll probably be hitting yasumicon down in your area next (and by we, i mean myself and [link] 's author). they're dragging ass about replying with table-news, so.

yeah, i got nothin.
